I'm not surprised. Gran Turismo 2 had a long 'print life'. It was available in a lot of stores from its release day right through the PS1's last days. I've seen three different packaging variants (USA) too.

If you still have access to the two
versions, you could dump them!

I was thinking this very thing as I could have sworn that the copy I had of this game was a dump from the discs that my brothers had at the time. I'll go ahead and fix it in the database now that you have confirmed my suspicions.

I dumped one Original Version game and 2 Greatest Hits version games of GT2 (all both disks) and they were identical to those listed in the DB as:
Gran Turismo 2 (U) (v1.1) (Disc 1) (Arcade Mode Disc) [SCUS-94455].bin
Gran Turismo 2 (U) (v1.0) (Disc 2) (Simulation Mode Disc) [SCUS-94488].bin

It seems incorrect that the Original version has a v1.0 and v1.1 disk in it. The exe dates on GT2 v1.0 and v1.1 listed in the DB are the same, so maybe the above two disks should both be either both be v1.0, or both be v1.1.

Hope all those tangled numbers make sense
