			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Thanks that works. I got the drive offset from the calculations in my dic logs and got the same results.</p><p>*</p><p>Or worked, rather. This worn out plextor was only able to spin up one disc and now it&#039;s giving me 5 green blinks or 2 ambers every time <img src="http://forum.redump.org/img/smilies/sad.png" width="15" height="15" alt="sad" /> Bad luck.</p><p>*</p><p>update: got 2 more disc offsets today before it became pissy again <img src="http://forum.redump.org/img/smilies/neutral.png" width="15" height="15" alt="neutral" /></p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>I don&#039;t really understand how write offsets apply to data discs to begin with so this may be a stupid question.</p><p>Is it possible to find the write offset of <strong>single track/data</strong> cds without a plextor (and how)?</p><p>And if a plextor is required, is there any tool that can do it without reading the entire disc?</p><p>I would like to include write offsets in my single track verifications but not if I have to wear out my plextor to do so.</p>]]></content>
